Cara mencari publikasi ilmiah dari internet
Untuk mencari publikasi ilmiah dari internet dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa cara:
  1. Menggunakan searching engine "Google" namun sifatnya lebih general (memuat informasi ilmiah juga informasi populer), oleh karena itu untuk publikasi ilmiah sebaiknya gunakan "Google Scholar" / "Google Cendikia" .
  2. Melalui "Pubmed" memuat banyak journal ilmiah kedokteran (sebagian free)
  3. Melalui University Library, Hinari dan lainnya yang berlangganan berbagai journal kedokteran. (perlu password)
  4. Mengakses melalui Publisher seperti: " ScienceDirect, Wileey-Blackwell, Wolster Kluwer, Ebchohost, Springer Link, Nature " dan lainnya (perlu password)
  5. Akses langsung ke journal yang kita inginkan seperti AJOG (perlu password)

Untuk membantu memudahkan pencarian publikasi ilmiah kita perlu:
  1. Membuat kata kunci yang tepat
  2. Mengerti cara memanfaatkan "searching engine" termasuk memanfaatkan halaman pencarian beberapa publisher (Science Direct, Medline, Willey Interscience, Springer Link, Scopus dll)
  3. Memiliki akses ke publisher tersebut baik secara direct, maupun indirect melaui university library.
